Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth star in this BBC adaptation of the novel by Jane Austen. The five Bennett daughters are under increasing pressure to find suitable husbands. When the wealthy Charles Bingley (Crispin Bonham-Carter) moves to a nearby estate, Mrs Bennett (Alison Steadman) is thrilled by the opportunity this presents for her daughters.
